Hello dear friends.
Today we celebrate another day of NanoPoblano (Day 25 to be exact) and with that comes another found poem in my month long marathon.
For tonight’s entertainment, I have selected a poem written by Clive James, an incredible man who is a gifted poet, critic, lyricist, novelist and essayist with an exquisite command of the human language.
The lyrics to the foundation poem of his I have used have been published over at Poetry Foundation and I have provided the link to them below.
And now here is my found poem, it is a short but sweet one dedicated to the very talented Clive James himself, thank you for reading and hope you enjoy it.

“Pearls Of Wisdom Plucked From Above, From Below” by David Ellis
Facing stormy water
Pluck in a hurry
Pearls from the surface
From above, from below, until
Almost a cloud of diamond dust
Flood their ballroom by basking in a galaxy
Absorbed into deep, sheer translucence
That will become beyond
A glazed castle crushed
