Hey there poetry fans.
Welcome to another day of poetry for National Poetry Month.
You can check out the prompt for Day 11 over that NaPoWriMo HQ here, which focuses on the theme of origins:-
For my own Day 11 entry, I decided to write a found poem based on the lovely poem by Canadian writer Oriah Mountain Dreamer called “The Invitation”.
I would like to invite you all to read her poem over at her website, along with checking out her other amazing poetry books.
You can also connect with Oriah on Facebook and Twitter here:-

And finally, here is my found poem, thank you for reading and hope you all enjoy it.
“Without Moving” by David Ellis
Living, you ache for
Dare, risk, adventure
To know you have touched the centre
You can be
Your own human
If you know you can be
True and trustworthy
You can see beauty
You can live, stand at the edge
And know to the bone
How the centre you have inside you
Can be yourself you truly like.
