Hey there everyone.
I’m participating in NaPoWriMo 2020, if you aren’t following the NaPoWriMo website already then go check it out at www.napowrimo.net.
Today I have used a poem by the legendary, amazingly talented poet Sylvia Plath as my very own inspiration.
You can read her vivid poem full of incredible imagery below.

Finally, here is my own romantic found poem, thank you for reading and good luck with all of your NaPoWriMo adventures throughout this month!

“A Voice of Departure” by David Ellis
Clear as a tear
Yesterday distinct, flora vast, a tapestry
Glass, with a chime in the air
Every one of them busy, pawing like horses
Tasselled Victorian cushions
Valentine landscape
Light, without dragging shadow
Moon lives quietly, with no attachments
The future is a voice of departure
And of the sea
