Hello there everyone.
I’ve been writing poetry again, joining in the fun over at Colleen Chesebro’s website for her “Colleen’s 2020 Weekly Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge”.
Today I have written a Crown Cinquain Poem, which has a series of five individual cinquain poems that form a larger poem themselves.
I have also made this a found poem as well. Since the theme for the challenge is Poet’s Choice this week, I have used the poem “The Triumph of Life” by the incredible romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley as my own inspiration.
You can read Percy’s divine poem over here:-

Finally, here is my found poem, thank you for reading and hope you enjoy it!

“Spirit Awakened”
A Crown Cinquain Poem Inspired by
“The Triumph of Life” by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Spirit
Awakened sighs
Flamed, from crimson sun kiss
Thoughts stretched beneath limbs, the day rose
Wondrous
Through sky
Mighty with clouds
Shadow, where flowers grow
Melodious thirst, dew trembles
Splendour
Fierce song
Such jubilee
Music poured forth, seeking
Soothed by a mischievous rain
Tingling
Soft spark
Unforgotten
The treasure of passions
Spread perpetual, divine waves
Intense
Mirror
The river bends
Whispered silver, threaded
Moon, threshold, darkness making dreams
Serene
If you too want to participate in the challenge yourself then you can find the link to the most recent one here on Colleen’s website:-
