Hey there everyone.
I decided to go off-prompt rather than use the NaPoWriMo HQ prompt today, as I do not have any amusing anecdotes that immediately spring to mind (and I’m pretty sure I have buried the more embarrassing ones, primarily due to being British and my stiff upper lip).
I therefore opted to go with the prompt of invention over at Poets United instead:-
Poets United Midweek Motif ~ Invention
Hope you enjoy it, as always 🙂

“Today Seen Through The Eyes Of Tomorrow” by David Ellis
The foundation of invention is innovation
There’s no logic in laws without cause and effect
Knowledge is attained through experiences shared
Today seen through the eyes of tomorrow is the goal
Out of chaos comes a sense of purpose
Intuition communicates through the archaeology of our bones
Resourcefulness succeeds where there are no clear paths
Events make the most sense when altering our perceptions of them
Watching as cultural society continually reinvents itself
Exercises in ingenuity defy all possible imagination
Absolute truths from the appliance of science
The spirit of new adventures never taken for granted
In the days of conventional, strive to be exceptional, inspirational
Make your art distinctive, let the light that permeates shine through
Your ideas have the most worth when fused with your driven passions
Let your dreams run wild, producing the changes your life deserves
