I Wish..But

Here is a gorgeous poem written by my good friend Shruti, it is very deep and has a marvellous chorus. If you don’t subscribe to her blog then you should do so soon!

A Shade Of Pen

I don’t have many wishes

Or so I think

But, the few I have

Are a bit too big

reflections

I don’t want to have a mausoleum

Built in my name

But, I want to stay in a heart

That forever whispers my name

I don’t have many wishes

Or so I think

But, the few I have

Are a bit too big

I don’t want to have 

Flowers on my grave

But, I want to be the thought

That never leaves someone’s mind

I don’t want to be a legacy

For one and all

But, I want my friends to smile

When they recall the happy times

I don’t have many wishes

Or so I think

But, the few I have

Are a bit too big

I don’t want to have roads

Named after my name

But, I want the ones I once loved

But, didn’t till the end

To weep once…
